Chevy Camaro Continues To Wow & Inspire
Camaro fans are beaming from ear to ear, thankful not only that their favorite ride is back in production, but that it is also taking it to the Ford Mustang, its chief nemesis. Not only is the latest generation Camaro faster than the Mustang, but it is also more fuel efficient and arguably better styled than the steed. Pent up demand is also fueling Camaro sales with 8000 units sold in recent months, beating the Mustang there too.
Customer demand is not only impacting sales, but it is causing GM to sit up and take notice at what people really want in their Camaros.
Initially, GM resisted calls to produce a Transformers inspired model -- based on the popular movie icon – but soon reversed itself to build a special edition Camaro featuring such Transformer design cues as the Autobot shield on side panels, wheel caps, and interior console; Transformer logos on door sills and hood stripes; and a high gloss black center rally strip.
